  • Not Cool.

blind leading the blindOh Steven. Last night in what was an entertaining "Word" Colbert changed an entry in Wikipedia to reflect his views on Oregon now, rather than what he'd stated on previous shows. He then went on to talk about 'wikiality' and how if enough people believe something then it becomes true. All very humorous. Unfortunately people actually took his advice and started modifying the elephant articles to say that populations have tripled since 1990. Lookit guys, the show is funny because he maintains this facade of extreme conservatism. It is parody and extreme caricature and you as viewers aren't sposed to agree with what he says because its so outlandishly stupid. So when he proposes vandalizing sources of information, you're not supposed to go do it!

Also I can't wait for "red state diaries" to begin. After that election debacle I really wanted to try and figure out what the hell the middle of the nation was thinking. What could be better than me listening to the maligned reasoning of the US population. Oh, Lewis Black exploding in the same situation. Yeah that's better.
